I took some pics of my new suspension of my dirt car. I had a 3 link with a Winters quick change added and weight jacks on the front. It's a 85 Monte Carlo modified street.

What class do you run, it would be way outside the rules for American/street/super stock class at our local Petaluma CA track. However it looks great and definatly affords you a lot of ajustability. Look forward to hearing how you run this year!

Thanks for the complements. The class is called Street Stocks. It really is a modified street class. The class is UMP sanctioned. I'll be running a 30 over 350 with a 3 speed and 3 disk mini clutch. Sorry sic Monte but I did save it from the junk yard.

Yeah a week or so ago the guys at the shop that built my three link were talking about how several years down the road tube frame cars are going to be all that we build. Most tracks around here have a FWD class. Usually it's 12 valve SOC cars. I can see my class going to a V6 FWD class.

yuck, FWD in circle track just doesnt seem fun to me.

im all about seeing more scratch built cars though. i bet you could build a whole race car thats just as affordable as the G bodys are now. it would just have to be very simple
