thanks for the reply, i was reading a few threads here that some g body guys where tubbing (mini tubbing) their rear inners and narrowing a section of the frame out, i would like to do this, and thought maybe someone here sold these or maybe knew of a site that sold em. hell if anyone wants to make a set for me ill pay em lol.
i want to stuff 22x10s under the rear of my cutlass.
20x8.5s up front w/ tubulars that i may be custom amde, not sure yet, if teh ones you posted are narrow enough i may go that route, and if their not i may go over to suicidedoors.com, they make custom to fit narrow uppers/lowers

First off welcome to the forum! :)
Nobody offers mini tubs for G Bodys AFAIK. That`s because it`s the frame not the tubs that get in the way. By sectioning the frame 5/8" and reinforcing it you can fit 10"-10.5" wheels out back and 315 section tires on most G bodys. This without touching the tubs at all. Very tall tires (over 28" tall) may require reworking the radius of the tubs where it meets the floor. In the front an 8.5" wide wheel fits very easily even with stock arms and no mods. Wheel dia. has nothing at all to do with wheel fitment in this case. Tire height is your issue. Front tires over 27" tall will rub on the frame at the rear of the front wheel wells at full lock. There are some pics of G bodys with the frame mod etc. on the photos page of our site. Mark SC&C

wow im glad i joined here, you guys are very responsive!! thanks!!
i shouldnt be going over teh 27 inch rollin diameter mark in front.
the rear though is gonna about 27 1/4 and about 10 inches wide, so i will tub the frame and weld in the mini tubs like you all have done here in several threads.
i have alot of rot in them anyway lol, the whole is great shape, this has been the only problem area ( the rear fender wells)
i ahve also been lookin at the tranny cross members that allow for dual exhaust, i must be new to all this stuff lol, i didnt know they made sucha thing, this site is great!!
oh yea, if anyone wants to make the tubs i still have cash!!!!:jump:

Marcus, I am learning some new stuff here too. I didn't realize that I didn't have to widen the tub to fit the 315's. That was the big part that I had heart ache over. I am not as worried about cutting the frame as I was the tubs. :-)
I take it too that 315's will fit on the 10.5" wheel.....
