Hey guys, fairly new to the scene here but I figured I'd start an AZ thread for the new forum area. I'm in North Phoenix (51&101) hoping to be attending some of the Pavillions shows by April or so...

I'm near you, Tatum and Jomax. I went there in November of last year, met Phillip and his dad Paul McKee there.

His dad have a LS7 in green 69 camaro. That thing sound really good.

Good to hear from you guys. It really is a small world, I'm NE of 32nd and Union Hills, 70 Cuda.

I haven't been to that safeway out there but I have a number of friends in the area so I'll have to swing by sometime. I know a bunch of folks down in Gilbert do a show at an Albertson's that's usually worth stopping at too.

Happy Valley and I-17, been on the site for a while, didnt even notice this new section.

I would like to attend a couple of the ASRA and NASA events around here. Ill try to post them up as I get them. And see if anyone wants to meet up.

Its too bad they closed that new road course out by TravisAFB, that was nice.

Lawbreaker, when you say hotspots do you mean for car shows and races or food/drinks/nightlife?

Food- Oregano's (italian, long waits, awesome food)
Garduno's (mexican, good food, great happy hour, North Scottsdale location)

Drinks- Where to begin...would really depend on where you're going to be located, for obvious safety reasons.
Barcelona Restaurant and Bar (meat market for the 30-50 year old crowd, cougars everywhere, if that's your thing)

With this in mind, if anyone's interested in a food and brew get-together sometime during the week or weekend, let me know, maybe we can put something together.

If you arrive early, please stage in the Citrus 1 parking lot to the North of the Gate 8 entrance. If you would like to spend the night at the track, you must sign the overnight waiver at the gate. When you enter the track for the first time, you will be issued a wristband that will be your entry and exit credential for the weekend and will allow you to bypass entry lines once you have the wristband in place. If you are not in possession of this wristband inside the track, you will have to return to the gate to re-sign the waiver and be issued another band. Parking spots are unrestricted with the exception of the tech/impound area to the East of the garages and the area directly North of the garages which will have an area reserved for vendors. The ALL North Garages are Reserved for BMWCCA The Area behind the Vendors is reserved for the 944 Group. All other Garages are only available and are first come first serve. Please ask an official if you have any parking questions and we will get you taken care of as soon as we can.

TECH: We will have both race and HPDE tech available at the track beginning at 6:45 a.m. both days. Tech will be located at the East end of the garages in the first two bays with Race tech in the East bay and HPDE tech in the West bay. For HPDE and Time Trial, there is no pre-inspection for HPDE Cars. Racers should make sure they have their annual inspections complete and a racing self-tech form completed prior to arriving at the track (see http://www.nasaproracing.com/images/rules-forms/form_race_tech.pdf (http://www.nasaproracing.com/images/rules-forms/form_race_tech.pdf)). If you need an annual inspection, please let us know and we will set aside a time for you on either Friday evening or Saturday morning. If your annual is complete and your self-tech form is complete, please visit tech in the morning to be issued a tech sticker that will allow you to compete for the weekend. You do not need to bring your gear or car unless you need a logbook or an annual. If you would like to have an inspection done and a logbook issued prior to the weekend, please phone Jim Fluckey @ German Auto Svc in Phoenix.

REGISTRATION: If you have pre-registered for the weekend, you will need to check in with Registration to receive your credentials for the event. Then, get your car teched and make sure you attend the Driver's Meeting at the scheduled time and location. If you miss your driver's meetings, you will have to contact your group leaders to obtain a wristband and track pass that will get you on to the track. Group meetings will be held downstairs in the media room unless your group leader advises you otherwise.

RACERS: competing on Provisional Licenses should leave their license books with Registration. The Race Director will collect them there. See the Race Director on Sunday Afternoon for your license book.

TRANSPONDERS: We use the AMB TranX timing and scoring system (see www.amb-it.com) for our race and time trial groups. If you want to be timed, please make sure you have a transponder or have reserved one from us. We only have a limited number available, so please make sure you have a transponder or we may not be able to record your lap time. Times are only available for HPDE4/TT and the race groups. If you have your own transponder, please make sure we have the number either through your online registration or by checking with Timing and Scoring in the morning to make sure you're all set.

FUEL: Fuel will be available at the track through the PIR staff. 100 unleaded and 112 leaded will be sold from 7:30-2:00 at the Sunoco pumps. Cash and check are the only accepted forms of payment and you must settle your account at the end of each day.

FOOD: Food service will be available at the track from the concession stand near the tower both days from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you have any other questions, please contact us at http://forums.clubracingaz.com/ (http://forums.clubracingaz.com/).

We look forward to seeing you this weekend and we hope to meet or exceed all of your expectations.

See you at the track!

2nd thing is....we are looking for inner fender wells for our 67 Camaro project here at Paradise Valley High School. We bought some for a 69 project we were doing, they did not fit good at all. So if anyone has some old OEMs for a 67-68, we much rather buy those.
