Howdy Ladies and Gentlemen,
What I Need
I need some dimensions from a stock and Hotchkis TVS equipped 2nd gen Camaro or Firebird (see attached image). First, on the rear leaf spring setup, I need the vertical distance from the centerline of the front eye to the centerline of the rear eye. Second, I need the vertical distance from the centerline of the front eye to to the centerline of the rear shackle mount. If you can measure from flat ground to the bolts centerlines, I can use the dimensions to calculate the difference.
Background
The reason I need this information is that I want to lower the rear of my 1955 Chevrolet, which happens to use 1981 Trans-Am suspension components. However, when the supsension was attached we mounted to the bottom of the frame. Now I want to lower the car for handling and aesthetic purposes. I would like the dimensions from a stock and Hotchkis TVS-equipped 2nd gen F-body to compare.
