Hey guys - need some oinions... Looking to make my car more Pro-Touring-ish...

The before - 15" wheels and tire combo with a 383 5-speed...

Currently - I installed larger torsion bars, stronger leaf springs, boxed the lower control arms, purchased tubular upper control arms, installed subframe connectors, upgraded to 4 wheel disc brakes

Future plans - 18" wheels (looking at FM5's) with according sized rubber - the EFI512 is built and awaiting to be installed - the 5-speed will be going back in....

I made a quick photoshop for the end result im going for... just looking for opinions....

Hey guys - need some opinions... Looking to make my car more Pro-Touring-ish...

Please do not get mad. I love these cars. BIG TIME.

IMO, it looks like the back half of the car is sitting too high. I know you want a slant to it however, it looks like it is on steriods.

There is hundreds of rims to chose from. Those don't do anything for the car. You have the right idea. Keep photoshop going with various set of rims. It will hit you when you get the stance and correct wheels.

I like the wheels but could be better. Rear needs dropped a bit I took alot of height out of the total ride.

I really like the tuck LowBuckX gave it. If it's a bit to low for you you might try 20's. I bet that it would look good on 20's and you can pick up 20's cheap these days.

I would have to agree with the others. Love the Mopar B- Bodys. I think it needs to come down a little. and 20s would look great on there. 20x8 front 245/40/20 and a 20x10 rear 295/40/20
I think the Foose Challenger would keep with the theme of the car.
If you need some prices on them let us know

Lots of good ideas here, but I think it needs to be practical. If you're going to go that low, you'll need wheels/tires that'll look good and fit. Choose wisely otherwise you run the risk of the 'elephant on rollerskates' look with those big Mopars.

I would lose the vinyl top but that's just me.

I agree with Tim, tap into the FOOSE challengers. Not alot of those out there and they look awesome.

Well - thanks for the kind words guys - honestly I hate the foose challenger wheels... I worked on that Episode of Overhaulin with the 71 Challenger... I didnt like the wheels then or now... I am more into the 5 spoke design wheels but I'm interested in wheel ideas - My photoshopping skills are sorely lacking - can somone chop the charger with some wheels ?

got a better angle shot of the car? Like a front 3/4 shot? It's real hard to find suitable "donor" images to pull wheels from at that angle.

I'll be glad to put any wheels you can think of on it for ya.

Sweet - I'll make you a deal - I'll order the wheels as soon as you give me the money for them ~ I'm kinda broke at the moment! they do look pretty sweet though... gotta admit... i would like some larger sidewall on the rubber... keep in mind this car's driven around the los angeles area... we have these things called... "potholes" :dunno:

I can't even pull the trigger to buy wheels for my own car. :hammer: On the sidewall issue, I wouldn't worry to much about it. I drive mine around the DC area and it's not that bad. Just watch out for the pot holes. :drive2:

I like the old Mopar Cop wheels. We have them with 245-60-15 on our 70 Challenger and it gives it a brutal, all business kind of look. The fronts rub however. no trim rings or dog dishes just shiny nuts. :slap: I wonder how Foose would redesign those old cop wheels?
