Jody,

Your extensive knowledge of Fuel systems leads me to this question: What is your opinion of the "moon" system featured here:

Is that a reasonable price for that system?

Any comments and suggestions would be appreciated!

Comments by anyone else are also encouraged.

Thanks,

Darren

Darren,

It would be depend on your power goals. It's no doubt a beautiful setup. Would make very good torque too. I'd say it's fine to 500 HP or so on a small block. That's not set in stone but beyond that I'd guess it would be airflow limited.

So if you're planning on say a 475 HP 350 it should work well.

The 450-500 hp is acceptable for me.

These guys also do downdraft and sidedraft Weber systems. Not sure how their price compares.

Jody,

The inglese systems are sweet but incredibly expensive compared to the moon stuff. It is almost as if the moon stuff is not priced right it is so much cheaper. I will have to make a call on Monday to see what is up.

I would love to do a side draft set up converted to efi. I passed on a carb setup at a swap earlier this year that was $450(!?) missing 1 carb. It was not a side draft manifold but more of the velocity stack style like your cobra. I was not thinking far enough ahead at the time.(even though it was a steal!!) By the end of the meet, I went back looking for it because I hadn't bought anything and it was gone. D'oh!

Thanks again for the feed back!

Darren
