I thought it would be cool to have flames painted on a car with this paint if there was one that changed colors in the yellow-orange-red colors.

Just a brain fart.

they do not make a color that just changes in the red and yellow range.

all the co. that make alusion syle paint seem to go in the gold red yellow purple range or the green purple range. these paints are very high in cost. around 400-500 per pint.

I did my street racer in 1998 using Sherwin Williams version. Dupont calles it Chromallusion. Ford offered it as Mistic. It has always been popular, especially when I first did it as most had not seen the color changing paint yet. People walk by and watch the flames move as they change colors. Here are 2 different shots to give you a idea how much they change. There are a couple dozen choices. This is called Blue Green. My flames go from gold, to red, to purle to green. purple and gree are the most dominant colors. The first picture with the hood up is the way the flames look most times. Then in the magazine shot you can see the sun made them green and red below the break line on the body.

The paint must be sprayed over black base and is no harder to spray then anything else.
