I remember reading about this Charger in PHR and I thought that some people would be interested. This is essentially what I plan on building when I am out of college.

I bet that it goes to Barrett Jackson in Jan, if it does not sell.

Shouldn't we give that one the boot as a "pro-touring" car since it hasn't been driven HARD. Its now "Sho-Touring" haha

Holy crap!!! I didn't realize it was only 10 minutes from me!!! While I wouldn't mind seeing the car, I don't want to bother the owner as I'm not really a buyer. Cool car though. I'd drive the hell out of it.

Nine Ball - one of our customers, Matt Delaney, originally built this stellar machine. I can most definitely assure you that he most certainly ran the car through its paces during its shakedown!
The fact that it isn't currently getting flogged to death out on the track at this point does NOT make it any less PT (!) :slap: If the next owner chooses to run it, I'm VERY confident that it would provide the impressive overall performance figures that we would all love to see...

I think the guy who spent six figures on his car (or whatever total for that matter) gets to decide whether he's going to thrash it on a track or not. It's his money and his car. Whether it's been on a track should not determine what type of car it is.
Has yours been on a road race track for a days thrashing yet? Drag strip doesn't count, this isn't Pro Street it's Pro Touring. Whether your car has or hasn't doesn't matter to me, it's still a nice Pro Touring car. I know you're not afraid to use your car hard, which is my preference also. On the other hand with the investment I will have in mine I'm not going to thrash it mercilessly. I just think it's the individual guys money and he gets to determine how hard and fast he wants to go through the car.

Dont know if it sold, but that has always been a really cool car. I have always thought the car was Protouring. What makes the car not protouring?
If I owned it I couldnt help but put lotsa miles on that sucker from driving it so much!
Seems a little steep for being relatively stockish looking, because the bodywork is always going to be the pricey part of the build. Motor swaps, even if they are on the unique side are never really that labor intensive compared to custom bodywork. That diesel gnx was probably quiet the pain though!
That's a good point Nick.
As for Tony's comment, I think eh was kidding guys. Don't beat him up too much. He is entitled to his own opinion. I too would drive the hell out of the things. I mean dear lord, the thing has a V10 viper engine in it. It may sound funny but it'll move. Put your foot into it already.
