Hello all:

My name is Rick and I am a Pontiac junky. I have a 1975 Formula Firebird that I rebuilt around five years ago with a few suspension upgrades. I added some components from a WS6 Trans Am including the front and rear stabilizer bars, support bars that go from the lower control arm rear mounting point to the subframe, steering box, posi-disc rear end (but have the drums on right now), and the W72 400 engine with stock internals but I rejetted carb, recurved the distributor and added an older stock intake manifold. I also relocated the battery to the trunk.

It is a fun car, but I would like to take it to the next level both in drivetrain and suspension.

I am currently restoring a 1971 Formula for my wife, so I want to make sure my '75 is faster, you know. I frequent some of the Pontiac forums and recently discovered this forum from one of the posts on the Pontiac forum. Several

Wow, I just got bumped off. As I was saying, several years ago I was at an open house at SD Performance in Canada and saw some video of a guy racing his black Firebird along a mountain race course, and it was AWESOME!!!!! I hope to do that someday, along with a long time dream of mine to retrace the old Route 66 in one of my Firebirds. Thanks for reading all.

Yes, here is a pic of the '71 I am restoring and a pic of the '75 completed. What year Formulas do you have?

Nice Formulas!! My Father and I have a 74 Formula 350 and a 71 Formula 400 Clone.

The 71 is in the process on getting stripped down and then it's off to the media blaster.
