well after driving it this summer and letting my old man go to some shows with me i sold the car ! this comes after i lost oil pressure in it and the trans , it spun 2 main bearings. oil pressure went to 5psi at about 3500 rpm s on the highway coming home one night .
i am looking for some thing else if anyone has any thoughts. thanks guys .
also the blue car is very close to being sold !

Sorry about the alt.. funny they didnt test it since they have testing equipment all over thier place.. :hmm:
I would buy your car in a second.. but I would have to sell mine first.. how much ya gonna ask for the blue car?
Oh, did you get a good price for the Orange Car? Given what you paid im sure you made a couple of $$ on it.. :)
I dont know why I keep wanting to sell my car.. i guess its because im itching to build my latest idea.. a no frills, low key, low chrome racer with a vintage twist to it.. Thats my problem.. i have more ideas than cash.. :screwy:

Oh I will.. :)
Im gonna enjoy it next season and then I will see.. the problem is the car came out more "showy" than I wanted.. the next car is gonna have an almost vintage road race feel to it.. NO frills.. supercharged big block.. mini-tubbed.. vintage look wheels.. 10 point cage..
The project already has a name :D
Since I wont be building it for 1-2 years I wonder if I should copyright the name and idea?? :seizure:
Glad to hear you have good buyers for your car.. when/if I sell mine I will hit you up since you seem to have buyers comming out the woodwork!! Oh, and I have a good idea what your blue car would go for :)

I think your car is bad ass the way it is. Not to "showy" for me!!! mine will be more "showy" than most of you guys like .............but thats what I like......I personally think that looks and performance combined is the way too go!!!!!!!!!

No such thing as too showy Steve. My car will do very well in the car shows also, but I will beat the crap out of it on a weekly basis. Just have to polish her up when you get home from the track, that is all.

Yea, I know.. i guess i meant showy in "the look" I was going for.. you would have to see my sketches of my next project to see what I mean :)
Im very much looking forward to next season so I can enjoy the fruits of my labor :)
I cant wait to see Datsbad's next project.. he should have enough $$ to build a hell of a vert!

yeah but the problem is my wife wants to add on to the house . there goes some of it , damn . dont worry it will be done next year sometime . i will be getting it back out to do the underside after my snowmobiling trips.
i picked up my chevelle today , waiting to hear from kyle for some parts and i will be ordering some other stuff. this car is a perfect paint and body on it , i bought it right to build a cheaper grade of car for my old man to play with . he had a great time last season . i will post some pics of before and after later on .
what do you think of a white car with silver SS stripes? it has a blue stock interior.
