Hi- ok, for any of those running shaft rockers and a solid or mech roller cam-- what do you do for winter? You can't back these off enough like a stud rocker- I've been turning my motor over every few weeks so I don't leave one spring cranked open almost 3/4" for the winter and giving it a set... I was debating about just removing the bolts that hold the shafts to the pedistal?

that should be fine , just unbolt them, at least if you have the rockers marked you wont have to re-adjust them later, just bolt them back down and go. just be sure to loosen them when they are on the base of the lobe . if you try it while the valve is open you risk breaking the shaft.

Yup. Just un-bolt the shaft assembly... mark accordingly... and change nothing.
