They took a bunch of students from the high school I teach at to the exhibit when it was in NYC. I heard it was awesome; kinda wierd, but very cool at the same time!

They're either having it here soon or it was just here but there's a billboard on I-94 advertising for it. I have heard that the people used in that exhibition were political prisoners from some asian country that were executed....something to that event. I wouldn't go to it because that kind of crap creeps me out.

seen it a few years ago at museum here in chicago..very cool..it was called body worlds..or something to that efffect ..suppose to be part 2 coming here soon..thousand and thousands of hours to get the bodies in that condition..ill go back when it gets here..all the bodies in one i seen were donated..with the people knowing this is how they would end up..and had all ages and races of people..even a pregnant lady..that was wild...

I was tailgating at the NASCAR race at Loudon this past Summer with the truck driver that hauls all of the "equipment" for the exhibit around. He said that they have to deal with protesters in most cities they go to.

I miised it when It was here in Chicagolast time 'round, even though I had tickets. Hey Darrin...i'ts on now thru April, let me know when your going, and I'll probably join ya.

Like Darrin said, the body's are donated. there is a waiting list of something like 6000 people that donated.

Yep, we went... it was weird and cool from a science standpoint. the method of preserving the bodies is pretty amazing.

its a really cool thing to go and see. my favorite part was the blood vessals and vains and how they were lit up. but it was a really cool learning experience.

for the sake of education and interest of the workings of the human body i think its really cool....

but some of the displays are obviously set up with an artistic vision... I gues im not really sure how i feel about that.
I'm not saying I'm against it or any thing... it just makes me feel kind of uneasy. But i think that is some of the apeal of the show

Bodyworlds is here in Dallas currently as well. The blurb in the paper specified that the bodies were all donated to the project -- no prisoners (or so they claim).

Haven't been, can't get the wife to go with.

Been to the one named "Body Works". There are a few different ones. I suggest everyone should go. It is extreamly informative.
