hi everyone. has anyone here used gm's serpentine kit? trying to figure the conversion from 65' chevelle hose to new metric.:dunno:

Can you order it through your local box store parts house, see if it fits, then return it if it doesn't? Usually the monkey's behind the counter won't give a damn if you return it or not where a dealership might.

i did that already. they dont make a pressure hose thats metric on the pump and sae on the gear ends.

Find a local shop that makes high pressure hoses. Had one done while I waited once. They are around, just about every town has one.

i had to buy a $18.00 hose to find the fitting on one end. so i'll take the old hose and the new and have them build the new one...always something... heck, almost as bad as boats

well....i'm a dummy! page 71 of my jeg's catalog has...an fittings,hose etc all for power steering. doh!!!!
