Hello from Alaska!
My name is Travis, and I have a 1968 Barracuda Formula-S 340 4-speed. Original drivetrain, still a 340 but non-numbers as the original blew up. The car was originally Green, but it was repainted black before I bought it. I must say, I prefer it black now.

I found this sight and have been lurking the last few days. (Keeps me busy at work) Thought I'd drop by and say Hello! You guys give me inspiration and Ideas for working on my car and now all I need is more money to do the things I want!

Car Specs:
1968 Barracuda
Formula-S 340
4 Speed 833 w/ 3.55 rear gears.
340 w/ X-Heads.
EdelbrockPerformer RPM Intake.
Holey 650 DP
MSD 6A ignition
MSD Pro Billet Dist.
Mopar Performance .508 Cam (292/292 or 248/248 @ 0.050 and is a horrible camshaft!)
Eagle H-Beam rods
SpeedPro Flat top Pistons.

No Quarter Mile ET's yet! but working on it. Engine was built before I bought it, but added Intake, carb and MSD.

17x8 intro V-Rod 5
BFGoodrich KDW's 235 front 255 rear.
Rear leaf mount flip. (good 1-1.5" drop)
Front lowered by torsion bars.

And now, for pictures!

I have always loved those cudas. The roof line is killer and the right stance sets it all off. All the lines are very smooth and flow well. VERY NICE!

One of my favorite Mopars. Almost bought one when I was 17 or 18 but a little research showed that performance parts were a lot more expensive than the other option I had at the time. That said, Nick is right. Damn good looking cars!

Same here, parts were hard to come up with. I love the car though.
