01 durango p0700 code!!

I have an 01 durango with a 4.7l and 45re transmission that is setting a p0700 code, trans error. Has anybody run in to this code before? I read there is a flash for it but not sure if it will fix my no 3 or 4 gear problem. It will shift to first and upshift to 2 but has NO third gear. It broke down on my wife last night 150 miles from home and now I need some information please.

I think its the usally input and output speed sensors..

from the Link I posted its a code in the main comp telling you to scan the trans side for codes
There you will find other codes that are actually the trannsmission

In my snap on scanner it offers me what system I want to access Eng trans or abs
