I don't know but I think I have a problem. I've been told that a Walbro GSS340 pump at 255lph will work for a 600hp motor. I think an Aeromotive 1000 may be more appropriate. Can some of you FI guys solve this? Willl the Walbro work?

I run a 255LPH walbro inline in my car making an honest 620 HP. No pressure drop at WOT.
THe other huge things are the pressure you run at and how much voltage is truly at the pump. 1 volt makes a big difference as well as 10 PSI.
Depends not on HP, but true fuel flow used which is HP and BSFC. A 600 supercharged engine typically needs a more fuel at 600 than a 13:1 n/a engine.
You need to look at the pump flow curves which show pressure and voltage.
You do want some "safety margin".
WHat injectors are you running? Can look at how much pump is needed to support the injectors you are running.

Doug, it is a NA 427 and will probably have 42# injectors. It will be a in-tank pump.

Walbro 255L/hr will work great. Make sure you wire it with a relay and get power directly from the battery. The Walbro pumps like a nice constant 14 volts.

42s will be fine for you and give you some extra capacity. Delphi injectors woek well and are relatively inexpensive. Lots of people sell them, including Holley. You can get them off eBay too from various vendors. The 42lb Bosch green top injectors are nice as well.
