IAC options for a stealth ram

Ok, got another issue with a stealth ram... Frank maybe you can help out...
I wsa mocking up the Stealth ram and starting to fit some of the devices on the manifold. One problem arose when I tried to mount my thermostat housing. The housing will not clear with the machined IAC mount that came with the manifold. 'This moount looks to be a custom unit machined for Prodigy.
Does anyone have any other experiences with mounting the IAC to a Holley throttle body on a stealth ram? Pictures would really be great if you have any.

What thermostat housing are you using. A "stock style" should fit (ie factory or "cheap chrome ones".

If you some real tall billet piece, and can't "machine" things out of the way, an option would be to run the remote mount ones and plumb it into the bottom of the plenum.

we used the Holley tb on my friends, wasn't even close to the water neck. I think the lower piece for the tb came off an old LT1 throttle body.

I do have the billet style housing and I really do not want to change it. Can you tell me anything more on the remote mount style? I've done a search here and google and did not come up with anything definitive.
Also, what would be the affect if I were to add spacers between the manifold and plenum. I would need about .5" to get the clearance I need.

Next time you use a blower, could you use a bigger one? :) :)

BDS and I think FAST sell a "remote" IAC. It just is an aluminum piece with a little K&N air filter that uses a screw in GM IAC. You can plumb it into any orifice.

I can't see a spacer making much difference, good or bad.

Check out that adapter. If you can't find it let me know.

Thanks again! using "remote IAC" as a search brought up a lot of results. I did find one from FAST for $234, but I also found one from DIY for $79.
I also found enough information that I know I can get the one I recieved from Prodigy to work by making a mounting bracket and tapping the orifices for an fittings.
I think I am going to plumb stainless steel line from the ports on the throttle body under the fuel rails to the back of the plenum and install the IAC there. Should work fine and also clean up the front of the manifold a bit.
