Oh. My. God. He's almost better than me at it. It's disturbing. It's like second nature to him. I have no idea how this happend. I did not coach him or teach him the controls. He learned by watching his brother. (something I discurage) but just look at his ablility to work the controls.

Here's a vid of him playing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQcy0PMIb9k) One day real robot soldiers will be piloted this way. Guess who they'll get to pilot them? these kids.

(No, I dont allow him to play this anymore.)

Mmmmmm...why is your 4 year old playing that game?

I am all for letting kids develop hand eye coordination through video games but wouldn't Gran Turismo be better?

he snuck into my room and started playing it. I had just installed it in my room last night. But my son's had it for months in his. I guess he learned it from him. At first i thought "he must be just mashing buttons." then I watched what was going on.

wow. he's totally got it down. knows how to jump, purchase stuff from the menu, choose a server to play on, the whole thing. It's amazing what they pick up.

/dont worry, he's not insanely violent or anything. and he's back to playing ratchet and clank now.

But still.

its amazing what they pick up....my sons 11 now, he's been playing FPS's for the last few years he prefers team based ones where he can play support...I got him BF2 for christmas so he'd leave my copy alone....he's a great medic...his kill to death ratio sucks lol

and here's the way I look at it......you tell a kid "no you can't play/do that" they will find a way to do it anyway, I'd rather know he was playing it and make sure he knows its a game and that real life doesn't have a "respawn" just my 2 cents...

my boy didn't start messing with them at 4 though lol
