It's a different approach than I've seen before but I'm not sure how well it would work. It'd certainly make the install on my car a breeze as I don't have the space behind the pumpkin for the other types of watt's links I've seen run. Your thoughts?

Looks like it would raise the rear roll center above normal range.

The FAY'S2 Watts Link has been around for two years now. It works very well with any spring/shock set up so you can have a good street ride or a firm track ride. You can view it at www.fays2.net

I think that may have some issues. Among them:

With the watts forward of the axle centerline you introduce lateral force oversteer.

The roll center appears to be high, as others have mentioned.

It looks like there could be some jacking forces by the angle of the arms.

In general, the roll center does not migrate with the suspension travel, which is another negative.

At first glance it just doesn't seem too robust. The sheetmetal seems a bit lackluster. I would move on...

Thanks...MIke

The word "Streetrod" says it all.

Thanks for all the input guys. Seemed too good to be true. I'll probably order the pieces from Fays2 and have something fabbed from there. I'll keep you posted.

We offer a frame mounted Watts.

We were the first manufacturer to bring the frame mounted watts to the aftermarket. In fact, we won a SEMA award for our Watts back in 2002, so we have been doing this a bit longer than some of the other Watts manufacturers (before they even existed)....

If you want to go beyond the Watts, we offer complete suspension setups..another thing some other manufacturers lack...

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about our systems...

Thanks....Mike

We are going with the Fay's Watts link. Its been used by many road course drivers. Jim is a good guy to talk to.

Evolution Motorsports looks to be well built as well, but we have made our decsion.

Damm true,

We did take a look at LD's set up...very damm nice, but we are under a tighter budget then some around here.

And I know you wernt directing the suggestion just at us.

Their set-up looks to be most effective for road course...but we just cant afford it truthfully.
