68 camaro with a martin turbo kit

Hello i am new here my name is erik and i am from the netherlands(sorry for the bad englisch) i have a 68 camaro witch i am restoring .
A 350 engine.030 oversize trw lw2603f30 forged pistons,edelbrock rpm 70cc heads,comp energizer rockers,Xtreme Turbo cam from comp cams 12-251-4, holley 850 carb.
Martin turbo kit with a rajay 3aa1ee80b1 turbo
Msd pro billet distibuter, msd 6a, blaster 3 coil, msd boost timing master,msd 8.5mm super conducter wires.
Hoping to make some power.

nice ride! thats an interesting turbo set-up. so its a custom intake manifold that feeds the turbo then back to the manifold?

Hi Erik, welcome here....! As I said before I think you are doing a great job!!

The intake is a "suck through" set-up.
The Martin turbo kit came with a special passenger side exhaust manifold (cast iron) that is connected with a crossover pipe to the driver side manifold. On top of Martin exhaust manifold the (Rayjay) turbo is mounted. At low RPM the Reed valves in the intake manifold are closed and the intake and carb work as normal. When the turbo speeds up the valves open and divert the mixture drawn from the carb through the turbo and back in the manifold.

I have the same exhaust system lying around and wanted to use it for a "blow through" system. (maybe on a next project)
