I may be wrong, but I think all the panels are made by Goodmark these days. Even if they say something else, such as "Ames".

you'll have to do a search, i hadn't looked lately but i think the 68 1/4s needed a little work to make them fit correctly.

NOS GM the rest mainly create the need for :banghead: :help: :Alchy: plus Alka seltzer. However not everyone can afford the big bucks. From what I have seen and heard put them all in a bag and shake it up.

Just about all the sheetmetal dealers get there stuff overseas from golden legion or something like that and then rebox them. Some of the goodmark stuff is there own. For example, when I got new 1/4's for the chevelle, I got them from goodmark, they had two options, one more expensive than the other do to using original tooling. I paid about $600 a piece for the quarter I got vs. $4xx for the lower quality units. And It was worth every penny. The quarters went on with out any adjustments. maybe I got lucky.:woot: Do your homework and finf out who there getting there metal from. Some parts you can only get repops from over seas, they just take some massaging! Good Luck

There are some 68 panels around, but they are blanks you can modify to work, LOL! I would avoid using door shells at all cost. I would MUCH rather repair a couple holes in the corners then have those pieces of dung on anything. They are to thin, weak, and are not the proper shape on the inner door shell. I can save you money on sheetmetal, and all your Camaro parts for that matter. Let me know.

Where are you located?

We used full 1/4's on my '69 with much success (goodmark). Used their front fenders, outer wheelhouses as well. I did get some oddball decklid that I dislike enough that I want to buy a goodmark eventually and replace it, I got a fiberglass one for my '67 that fits better than it does.

I agree about the door shells, there is no way.

Unfortunately I have to cut the original quarters out of my '67... Seems like they're an inch thick in comparison to the new ones, my only beef with repro quarters is how thin they are. I don't care so much about fit but how easily they ding up.

A few observations from the '69 I have that is mostly rebodied, and a '68 that my paint guy did last year-- the trunk lid fit is not quite right, the side to side gaps are too large, so you need to rework or widen the trunk lid to make it look right. (both cars showed this, I'm going to check a OEM trunk I still have to see if it's the lid or the 1/4's.) Also, the front fenders are too long in height if you look at the body line match up- so they need some rework, cutting, etc. The rockers and doors fit up well.
