We need to put a get together west side style. I can't believe I said that... would Altamont Speedway be a good location...I hear they have a 18 turn 2 straight away road course now.

Im interested in some type of gathering,it seems that all of the events are out of reach from us.Were is Altamont speedway? How many members go to the goodguys show?

Altamont raceway is in the Altamont right where 580 and 205 merge. It's about 5-10 minutes from Livermore, and about 45-60 from San Francisco. I think we're gonna start working on something to get together soon. Hopefully not too formal, but something good.

Sears Point has open Wed night drags we could gather at this summer. The really fast guys might only get one before lack of a roll cage might end their evening. Novato is 5 minutes away with plenty of good resturants to gather at after.

Well, some of us can't make Wednesday nights up there. It'd take me two hours at least to get there, and I get off work around 6. However.... If anyone is free on any Sunday, Vince and I will be needing some help. We'll need at least three other guys for this. PM me or Mr.Quick for information. Not only will it be fun, but you may be able to drive a car around a track!!!
