New Addition to my collection, future project

So as of last week I aquired a 1970 Chevelle Sport Coupe, it is going to one big project for me and will take some dedication, but when this car has been my dream vehicle for time to come their will be plenty of dedication and hard work. I also picked up a 1972 Chevy Suburban Three-door. The Chevelle will be quite an undertaking, its going to need new floors, and rear quarters. Heres a pic of the big project:

Cool project. My fav car is a 70 Chevelle SS. I will be picking up a project 70 SS soon. Post some build pics when you get started. What are your plans for this one?

The first phase will be to make it into a 454 SS Clone, as close to SS specs as possible, possibly though with new suspension pieces, like tubular control arms and A-arms and brakes along with either the factory SS wheels or larger 17" versions. But I think at first im gonna just restore it and build it like an SS, then after that just enjoy it then rebuild it again with pro-touring in mind.

70 Chevelle is my favorite year also. At least in stock form.

You are going to restore or rebuild this thing twice? Lots on money my friend. IMO decide where you want to go with the car and stick to a game plan. Doing it twice is a lot of work and addtional expense.

I still got some time to think about it, I still have to finish my malibu first then start the chevelle. It will be some time, I would like to have it look all original then my other counter-half wants a pro-touring chevelle, but I got time for this project to bake in my head
