Hey i just go my Dart Pro One Alum Heads...Someone said that i needed to blend the bowls...also wanted to do intake runners on heads and on victor jr. intake...I do have machinist skill but not in the engine building area...so to gasket match I would take felpro 1205(dart recommend) scrible areas to dremel off..and taper the blends backwards? Then on the bowl area where the cnc stopped machining in the bowl, do you blend taper towards valve stem..clean & polish areas where casting is rough?... clean up cast flashing in chambers? does this change cc if i just polished? i know i would be removing a small amount using a rotating scotch brite wheel

A Dremel Might not do it but you could try. For Beginers Start with a 80 grit sandpaper roll,Blend the lip just below the seat area 3/4 inch below.Finish intake to about 120 grit. On the Exhaust do the same but finish up with finer grit and finish with a scottbrite pad semi polished finish,Polishing the combustion does not change the cc. If you know what your doing I would start with a carbide egg than finish with sandpaper roll. Play it safe start with a sandpaper roll.

A dremel will blend bowls and gasket match fairly easy. It will take many of the sanding drums but they can be had fairly cheap at McMaster.com or sears sells a large assorted bag of drums that will do the job. The dremal buffs work nice for polishing of the chambers if needed. but you will need 8 packs of them. they come with 1 cource and one fine. $3.88 a pack.

last night i but the kit that eastwood sells...tapered straight rolls..i also bought a set of cross buffs that standard abrasives sells and then i bought a mushroom type ball that has 320 grit...i thought this would work in exhaust ports...Will the cross buffs work for the combustion chambers...or do have to remove the cast flashing first with finner grit sanding roll?
I did my intake manifold last night with a air die grinder and carbide roll..then used a dremel with stone to smooth it out...i was going to use some of the 80 grit to finish up the intake manifold....

I would think long and hard before grinding on a brand new set of CNCed Pro 1s. The odds that you'll improve performance (or even flow) are pretty slim.

they are not fully cnc ported...they are just machined past the seat..then the machining stops...
