hey everyone new to the board but not i have been registerd for a bit just now getting back on my car. so i hope to post a lot more.heres a few basics of what im starting with!


1967 mercury cougar

68 302 bored .030
flat top pistons all arp hardware
comp hydraulic flat tap.
re worked 68 closed chamber heads with 1.94 1.60 valves
screw in studs and 1.6 rr
windage tray and milodon 8qt pan
edel. rpm air gap
demon speed demon carb.
hedman headers
all msd ign.
full exhaust custom x-pipe set up
3" into the x and 2 1/2 out of the x and all the way out the back with spintech mufflers.
the car currently has a t-5z 5speed with all the conversion pieces from modern drive line along with a mcleod billet flywheel and spec stage 2 clutch and a pro 5.0 shifter
the rearend is just a stock rebuilt 8" with 3.50s and a detroit locker

suspension
kybs all around
poly bushings
front 620 springs and 1 1/8 sway bar
rear has mid eye 5 -leaf


the car is still a work in process. im currently just putting back together to drive as is for now will have complete pics up once im done soon. hoping to totally rip the drivetrain out and start over again once my new job starts. and please if any of u ford guys can i need some suspension help!!! the site looks great.

heres a couple pics it was green and just recently repainted two tone hugger orange with a couple of secrets in it and 05 viper silver . in one of the pics we were doing a test fist for my boyd coddington hotrods they are 17".

looks great!!! the choice of wheels on the car were great as well.
