...you know what? I think you are right! I fell for it until you questioned it. But....
...Look closely at the front tire in the 1st and 2nd pictures. Keep scrolling up and down to get a good look. Looks to me like someone did a nice photochop of the cliff.

The photographer was at a different angle. I haven't looked at it real hard, but it looks legit to me.

Its BS. Look at the first picture, there are weeds by the front tire. The second picture the tire is closer to the edge and there are no weeds.

not quite true. depends on the angle and the way the sun hits the weeds. ive taken plenty of pics where you can see the grass in one shot but once the sun isnt on it and your a bit farther away it doesnt look like its there.

I don't buy it. If it is real, the 3 rescue workers standing on the cliff side of the truck are violating about 9 different safety precautions. They couldn't know if the truck might still slide some more toward the cliff, or part of the cliff face could give way. I don't even work in fire & rescue, but one of the first things I would have done is tethered the truck to the guardrail. It would have taken only seconds to do this, but I see no chain or rope going from the truck.
I'm gonna have to wave the flag on this one too unless somebody has a link to a news article to back it up, then I will stand corrected and be thoroughly impressed.

I completely agree to not make a call, with my photoshop,I couldn't see any funny business, but screw the truck, I would have had my ass tethered to the gaurdrail! Plus a base jump pack, just in case!

Not photoshopped. The weeds "by the front tire" are by the back tire, look at the rock under the weeds. It's really by the back tire, but due to the angle of the shot (near the fence visible in the third shot) Thats the way it looked.
Judging from the knocked over K rail, it would have flown and landed just this side of the weeds after the drain, on the passenger fender, endoed, spun, and then came to rest facing backward. That's one lucky bastred there.

Not photoshopped.
Maybe not, but it still might have been staged...:hmm:
Does anyone have an idea where this is actually at?

The concrete drainage channel just looks wrong to me too... how did they pour that next to a huge cliff? Possible sure, but...:guilty:

i didn't know those concrete barriors could move that easily. and with such little dammage to the truck too. hmmm...

The junk at the bottom looks like stuff that gets washed down the drainage pipe. Seems real enough.
Andrew
If that's fake, those are some mad photoshopping skills.
I too think the truck should have been tethered too, but it's not me out there either.
