So I got the car back from paint before Christmas, been trying to clean everything up as much as possible, still waiting on the hood, upper cowl panel and trunk. Hopefully soon..... I got the motor running pretty good right now, still trying to find the best seal for the carb hat, if there are any good ideas out there let me know. The stock think cardboard gasket that came with the Procharger was not sealing that well at higher RPM, still only around 7 psi I would get fuel spraying out onto the windshield, a little but enough to try to get something better to seal, plus on top of that on the gauge I was only showing 3 psi boost...... So I knew it was leaking out somwhere... Right now I am running the cardboard gasket with closed cell 1/8 inch weather stripping rounded and slit down the middle so there is rubber on either side of the cardboard and it seems to seal ok for now, hopefully will get to try it out more this weekend. I am working on installing my Classic Air too, pics to follow. Here is the car as of last weekend. Enjoy.......

Headlights are grafted from a BMW 750i HID with D2S bulps might be changing to D2R to get brighter, unless there is a better way...

Still need to run the Alcohol injection and install by Procharger Red Bypass valve.....

Looking good..............

For the carb hat seal, try this one......same one I use & alot of ppl i know running high boost (20+ psi) Its a thick rubber, and wont leak.

Thanks everybody. I hope to get final pics up soon, but at this rate who knows... It used to be Acura Midnight Black Pearl with a white base, (I wanted more of the blue). It was a tough decision to go to the red, but I am glad I did. I was thinking of Tangelo Orange or go the more deep and dark (aka fuel, I love that car).... Once I saw that digital paint booth of it in Red, that was pretty much the deciding factor. I wanted it bright, my new project (66 Nova) will be more sinister looking.....

Thanks Turbo Hen - that's exactly what I was looking for!!!
