Hey guys, I have a 1980 Chevy Malibu and Im looking to get that slammed stance just perfect. If anyone has any advise on products or pictures on projects and what was done, that would be great. Im running 17in wheels right now. And if anyone has advise on wheel combos and fitment along with stance specs, I would love to hear them. Just trying to get my Malibu looking mean!!!

You can take a look here http://www.scandc.com/photos.htm and see if you like the stance of any of the G bodys there. I can tell you the setup of any one of them. Mark SC&C

I love the stance of both the 69' Green chevelle and the Genesis Chevelle. Any info on those would be awesome. Thanks.

My friend has a 78 malibu. Just got it painted and he was planning on running air-ride. Thats the plan so who knows.

I'm running Mark's Stage II kit with 1" drop S10 springs from DJM. My car sits a lot like Doug's Monte in the pictures Mark posted; much lower than that and you'll run fenderwell contact on swooping bumps in the road.

Air Ride Technologies kit, Strong Arm tubular control arms, Shockwaves in the front and bags and shocks in the rear. 2" drop spindles along with Hotchkis trailing arms and front and rear sway bars. 18 x 7 front with 4" bs and a 225/45/18 and 18 x 8 rear with a 4.5 bs and 255/45/18. Baer 13" brakes on all four corners.....

Thats one of the Hottest Malibus I have ever seen!!! I just dont have the cash to go with Air Ride, and I have not heard the greatest things about those systems when racing a lot.

The Genesis Chevelle is a unique piece using CNC modified C6 Corvette aluminum spindles, aluminum steering arms, one off springs etc. etc. Hard to copy that one. The Green Chevelle is running Hotchkis drop springs and an SC&C Stage 2 package which drops it about another 3/4".
Dustin I dunno if that`s the best pic to show your ride height. Doug`s Monte, for those who don`t know is the burgundy/black one with the big cowl hood. It`s mini tubbed with 315s,SC&C custom NASCAR boom tube exhaust (with flamethrowers!),SC&C custom cage and a healthy small block. He running a Stage 2 also but with 5660 Moog springs,ZQ8 bumpstops and 2" drop spindles. We don`t generally recomend 2" drop spindles with the Stg.2. It`s about as low as I`d want to drive a G body on the street and the front tires are limited to 225s due to fender clearance. It`s got an awesome stance though and handles like it`s on rails.
