We decided to play Mega Millions last night ($122million). Look how close we were:
Ours: 8,13,27,39,54+13
Winning Numbers: 7,11,26,38,54+13
My birthday is 11-7, which is what I thought we were playing. Probably the closest we will ever get.

I've done that before. My EXwife changed two of the numbers (this was pre-"mega number" days) to HER birthday. If she had left it alone, we'd have won 80 million dollars. I did win 2 grand though. I was one of 3 people who picked 4 right.

Quit your whining . . . Go buy more tickets . . .
I keep telling myself this and I keep losing.
Damn that stupid concept of 'hope'.

I know the feeling.
I had a lotto close call last year, had all but 1 number, and my final number was only one digit off the winning number. Could have walked away with 35 million, instead walked away with $30K. Still not a bad deal but I couldn't help but feel I was being teased only being a measly single integer away from having the decimal point be over a few more spots to the right on the check. LOL.
