what's up everybody? i joined the forum to learn more on how to fabricate a touring car and to get ideas for some model cars i'm working on.hopefully by the summer of '08 i'll be working on a real project car.which hopefully will be an 80's cutlass salon(supreme) with t-tops and automatic on the floor.this is my first choice,if i come across a muscle car i'll make it my project.we'll see what i come across and keep you guys posted as soon as i get my hands on the actual car.that's all for now.

Welcome aboard from a fellow G-body admirer. I had an '86 Cutlass Salon for a year as a daily driver, it was a great car!

Welcome G-bod brother. I don't know about you but I always loved the alternate (non-Chevy) cars in this family because:

1-In my case, I always wanted a Cutlass; I liked the looks and knew it was really a Chevelle underneath.
2-They're all full frame.
3-Triangulated Four Link and no leaf springs.
4-I like to be different (mainly because of #5)
5-I can't afford a Chevelle.
6-What brand allegiance??...they'll take about any motor; I've had a Regal that came from the factory w/ Chevy motor and a Cutlass w/ Buick power so don't jump me!

P.S. Number 6 being said, just don't mention a Cutlass with Chevy power on oldspower.com...jeez, those guys are really anal about olds motors.
