No you should not. Basicaly it's the same as if you were putting C6 z06 brakes on a c5 corvette.

Dont trust us...

Just go there and ask these guyz

Lots of c5 peeps instaling c6 zo6 calipers and rotors

Basicaly wehn you own AFX spindles, think c5 corvette for brakes. Anything made to fit a c5 corvette will fit the AFX.

Uhm...

...anything C5 or C6 will fit the AFX spindle. You dont have to think C5 for specifically anything.

How about the aftermarket application of pad choices for the C-6 Z06 6 piston caliper? For both street, autocross and HPDE.

I know that HAWK now has three compounds available for the C6/Z06 caliper. Other than that, I havent really seen anything mainstream from other manufacturers.

Although, I am sure if you had a set of pad backingplates that Porterfield can/would re-line them with their offerings. Their R4-S compound would be an excellent choice.

I believe that they are still the same.

Give Gene at www.GMpartshouse.com a call or E-mail.

They have the best prices I've found on GM parts and Gene has been a very helpful guy in the past.

I bought c5 rotors and pads at Oreily. (brand is Wagner)

$51 for each rotor and $29 for the pads.

The calipers and brackets I bought used on the the corvette forum.

Heres a guiy selling a pair for $150 as well.

I did that yesterday :hah: I also talked with the dude over at KORE3 and they have other rotors and they may be getting aftermarket pads for them.
