Ok this was crazy. I ordered some coil springs and got the wrong ones and this is what happened. The pictures tell it all.:screwy: :pat:

The first picture is with the new wrong springs they sent me.

(A word to the wise, check them before installing them.)

The second picture is of when I got the car, notice how low it is, that was because of 2 shocks being completely busted and smashed in and drag race coil springs that are to make the car leap up at take off for better traction. Let's just say they did not work well.

The third picture is of the coil spings themselves that I had to work with and the last picture is of when I got the right ones finally installed.
Thanks to Hotchkis for getting it right for me.

Yeah the work was frustrating to say the least, but the difference in ride and handling was well worth it.

P.S. Nice car Paul Z. I like the color too.

:hah: Haha! They were for a 1 ton truck! :screwy: I had to use a breaker bar on the spring compresser just to compress the springs enough to get them out.
I had one coil spring pop-off the spring compressor and thankfully it did'nt hit me. It just slammed hard against the floor.:scared:
I sure learned how to do this well, :1st: since I did it 3 times within a period of 2 days. :banghead:

C'mon, it wasn't that bad... I think it would have settled after the first 125,000 miles. lol
