Gotta root for the Big Ten. Even if it is *ichigan. Not looking too good for Blue at the moment.

Man, USC really pulled out their A game. I really had my doubts about USC yesterday, but they did great! Finally the curse is over at the Rose Bowl.

Go Trojans!

OMG. What curse is that? Its not like they haven't won it in 80 years. They have more Rose Bowl titles than anyone.

Ya know, I mostlly follow the NFL games, and only the BIG games for college.
I could see right away that #8 wide receiver for USC was going to be trouble for Michigan! He's damn good, as the game shows.

Too bad Mich. didn't play their 'A' game also. :(
Oh well, now let's see how Ohio plays against Florida!

Go Bucks!

Sorry Josh, I meant Rose Bowl stadium curse. After losing the previous Rose Bowl to Vince Young and then a couple weeks ago to UCLA, USC students started to spread around rumors that we were cursed at the Rose Bowl stadium.

Michigan brought their A game, but seemed to have misplaced it by half time.

Carr has to go. His time is up.

Tony,
You may be right. Your guys looked uninspired in the 2nd half. Some of that is coaching.

The worst part of a bowl loss is that you have to wait 9 months to see your team play again. I hate that.

Carr has to go. His time is up.

No! He is the best coach the Buckeyes have ever had!

USC's #8 Dwayne Garret (sic?) was the un-classiest player on the field. Standby for the next KJ, TO, etc. Yo- Deewayne, I'd like you to meet my buddy, Mr. Urlacher.

Dwayne Jarrett played a great game against Michigan. I watched the entire game and cannot remember one instance when he did something that was un-classy. I surely would not compare him with the likes of TO. Yes, he does know he is good, but he does not rub it in the opponents face, at least not more than any other player. If I missed something during the game OHC which made you say this, please let me know.

I think he was refering to when DJ tossed the ball to the *ichigan safety after a big catch. He was hit with a penalty. He seems nice enough to me...

I couldn't believe how many times Jarrett would stare down the defender after making a catch, or pointing at him on the way to the endzone, or tossing him the ball.... Man some refs would have flagged him 3 times, and they let all those go??
I actually agree to let them play, but I'm just saying that they way the games had been called this year I was surprised.
Remember when Santonio Holmes was flagged just for diving into the endzone last year????

true, I did see some of that. He definitely rubs it in, and loves pointing at opponents when he makes a good play, but I'm not sure those can be classified as un-classy or even worthy as a penalty. Arbitrary dives into the endzone are clear acts of showboating and should be penalized, but pointing at an opponent, I do not believe, is an act of taunting.

pointing at an opponent, I do not believe, is an act of taunting.Sorry, Kyle. I have to disagree with that. Pointing at the opponent is one of the clearest ways there is to taunt an opponent. My Gators have their own problems in this regard, but it still makes me cringe. Why can't they pretend they've done that before, hand the ball to the official, and head back to the huddle?

You have a point John; it's not like he hasn't scored a touchdown before. But I still do not believe that is an act of being unclassy and do not think he can be compared to the likes of TO. I've spoken to him personally and he certainly does not regard himself in that manner.

parsonsj

I doubt even TO regards himself in that manner. It's a rare person that will admit to poor behavior.

I still say it doesn't belong in the game, but I'll take your observations that he's a good kid.
