Has anyone here done the C5 swap on a 2ndGen Camaro? I'd like to do the upgrade on my '78 and was wondering what the differences are between the 1st and 2nd Gens. I'd like to do the front and rears.

Big difference between 1st and 2nd gen. The 2nd gen spindles are what most guys use for the changeover, you have it easy since you don't need to change the spindles or ball joints.

You do have to cut off part of the spindle though. Well, not the spindle part, but the brake ears. Then you have to get a mounting bracket for the caliper. I can't really call it a "simple bolt-on", but it's not too difficult. I'm not sure yet, but I may try it in the future. There's a couple guys here that have done it. They may be able to explain it better.
