Started the demolition of my '72 Challenger...I've had the car since I was 14 and it's been through two stages already in 6 years but now I'm ready for the final one. I got the car apart, boxed and bagged up this week and ready for paint, just got to get it to the right man. My Alterkation w/ coils, power rack and 12 3/4 wilwoods, and air bar are done thanks to Bill Reilly. Now that the motor is out and ready to be built I got a few more parts to order. The motor will be a 408 magnum, with ported edelbrocks are on the current motor, and a procharger with 14+ pounds of boost and an intercooler. Can't wait for it to be done, goin with yellow and a black vinyl top. (Like dads camaro) This car will have it all. Very grateful to be 20 and have the opportunity to build such a car. Thanks to my dad who has some incredible cars and more in the works. He's tought me everything I know and couldn't make this project happen with out him. HOPING to have the car done for the spring...Gonna have to come home from school everyweekend. This thing needs a name, any ideas?

What kit are you refering to? If you're asking about the front end it is an AlterKtion by RMS. Their website is www.reillymotorsports.com (http://www.reillymotorsports.com). Bill is a really nice guy and does excellent work, it is the supreme mopar setup in my mind. And the rear is from Air Ride but I ordered it with out shockwaves so the car would be consistent with coil overs all around. As for pics, I'll get try to get them up for monday or so. Thanks guys.
Project "Vanishing Coin" (ok, I'm really just kidding... that's horrible) :)
Project "My car's so fast I can't get a picture of it!" :bananna2:
Seriously though, I agree with what someone here once said some time ago, something in the cars (or you AND the cars) history should help determine a name.

PS. 1970cuda was inquiring about your Procharger. (see his thread title)

Alright so after about two months I've found some one I feel is able to do the quality work I am looking for. I've stripped the car of paint and coats and coats of plastic. The car had several layers of plastic unnecesarily over every panel. The metal was perfect in most places, the amount of plastic I found was mind boggling. In any case the car will be going to body real soon and I hope to have the whole car done by August. I know that doesn't seem like much time but the air bar should be an easy install, and the front clip I'll assemble while the car is in body, and again should be an easy install. The motor is coming together and I'm workin out the final details in parts before assembly. Hopefully the car will be back in my hands by June and two months with no school should be enough to get the car done. I know the car inside and out being that I've had it since I was 14 and it's all be apart several times. (6 years) With that said I have recently dubbed the car Project Young Gun. Hows that sit with you guys?
