Even though I'm no where near done with my current project, "Burnt Toast", I just had to start on something else. It already has a power disc brake conversion, and new mechanicals, so the plan is to just drop the LS1/4L60E into it and drive the snot out of it. It's actually a little rougher that it looks in these pictures, but I already got a set of front fenders commin'. I need a core support and rear valance panels. It will eventually get a full air ride setup and paint some day in the FAR distant future.

Cool! I really like it. Rough or not, it looks like a nice car and I like the color too. Keep us posted. I'd like to see it once you install engine, etc.

Very cool looking Rubes.

There's a 61 bubble top near me also that "at first" I thought I wanted, but it needs serious stuff like side floorpan rails. (whatchamacallits)

I talked to the owner and it I could probably get it for a few mere hundred bucks too.

OK...its been way too long, and I still don't have much to update. Some of you know I got this car from my Dad, and that I lost Dad a few months ago, so it has become somewhat of a tribute car. I did get the motor and front air ride in and dropped it down on the wheels for some pics. Since the bling bling Boyds ended up on the truck, I popped the Boze on the Imp and it looks pretty good (other than that front tire is gonna look way too small once the fenders go on). I have a sneeky feeling a set of Forgelines are gonna end up on there .

Just an old relic that was hangin' on the ceiling of a local rod shop. I snagged it when they closed down. It was just all old cobbled up pieces...not at all track worthy. Flathead engine was just an empty shell. I was gonna hang it in the ceiling of my new house (no wife obviously) but that project has been indefinatley delayed so I sold the dragster.

Holy cow... 20 years since I posted the start of this.
Drove it around the block finally last fall. Getting too old for nice cars, so rusty cars it is!!

I'm sure it felt good to get it moving under it's own power!
