I don't know which forum to post this in? I am looking for a 1st gen subframe and wondering what the difference between the nova and the camaro frames are? Also are the nova frames the same from 68 to 74? That is the question?
THanks for you $.02

Brad, '68-'74 Nova subframes are all interchangable. My understanding is that 1st-gen Camaros and 3rd-gen subframes are also the same.

Are the bumper mounts the same? That is the only place I am seeing in a set of pictures that maybe differ??????
Thanks

I'm pretty sure the buckets for the bumper shocks bolt onto the frame, just in a different place than the '68-'72 models.

Brad, I was chatting with Scott Windle (creator of http://www.novaresource.org) and I asked him your question concerning '73-'74 Nova bumper mounts. Here was his response, take it for the gospel as this guy knows what he's talking about.

Actually, 1973 bolt on the same as 68-72. 1974's do
have a slightly different bolt pattern to the front
frame rails but nothing that would stop a swap.
