I just thought that I would share some pictures of some PT cars that I have built lately. The silver Firebird won the Goodguys Fab5 at the Great Lakes Nationals, Goodguys Peak Definition of Cool at the Midwestern Nationals, and the Hotrod Supernationals Best Interior. It is also in the current January issue of Super Rod magazine. The camaro won Super Chevy and was featured in Camaro Performers and is currently on Super Chevys website under feature cars. I love building them just as much as I do driving them!

WhiteG240- You can see more pictures of the Camaro and read more about it at www.superchevy.com (http://www.superchevy.com) . Click on feature cars, and then on Camaros, the article is titled "70/80 the perfect blend". I think there are 6 pictures of it and specs on the car.

I like the exterior of the Bird a lot. Love the molded rear bumper, doing a Camaro as we speak with a similar bumper. The dash is a bit over the top for me (thats saying something, LOL) but the craftsmenship gets huge props! How about a shot of the rest of the interior.

I will try and get a shot of the rest of the interior, but I do not know how much photo attachment space I have left on this website. I think there is enough though. I built the car at night and on weekends and did all the work myself from engine build to paint to interior. I did it in six months (long nights and weekends!!!) and took pictures along the way. I have a VERY understanding wife! The dash is all steel as well as the console. There is also a metal rear package tray that rolls down the sides of the rear seat and a rear console.

Nothing that I know of, the Camaro is still down and I will prolly be cruising in the 58 Nomad until the 69 is back again. And needless to say, the Nomad is NOT an inside show car! Unless it is a rat show that is!

I hadn't even noticed the back bumper... that's pretty sweet.

Nice to see you posting Derrick. You and your father-in-law were parked next to us on Friday (green Nova), anyway, it was nice to talk to you at GG Kansas. I saw the Bird in the new Super Rod, nice pic! What are you working on now? Do you still have the Bird?
Hey everyone, the best part of the Bird is that it has a Poncho powerplant, no Chevy in there!

Craig- Hey, it is good to hear from you. What have you been up to? I am getting ready to take it on the Autorama/ World of Wheels show circuit. I will be in Milwaukee, Chicago, Indy, South Bend, Detroit, and Louisville. I will probably get rid of it after that. Right now I am doing a custom 52 Chevy with a Corvette drivetrain and suspension, and I am thinking about whipping out a 1967 Camaro for all the 40th aniversary shows. That all depends on if I have time. I have big plans for the 1967. I am going to try and get the 52 done for the Goodguys Hot Rod Nationals this June. Sleep is so overrated!!!!
Venomous Type- I looked through all my pictures of the Camaro and none of them are a straight on side view. I will try and take one for you to see. I personally like the 18/20 combo better, but the 17/20 on the Camaro looked fine also. The trick with the 17/20 combo is getting the right size tires so that the sidewall height is the same on the 17's as they are on the 20's. It just doesn't look right if the front tire has a bigger sidewall than the rear, but that's just my 2 cents. I'll try and get you that picture.

aaaah i see.. i was wondering that.. seeing as i want to put 20s in the rear of venomous but i have 17s up front.. i DO have 18s now but they are 10s with 5.5 backspacing.. look like a rollllllerr skaaatttee..

I think the front tires are 235/40 17's. I just really had to look for a tire(brand and line) that they made in both a 17 and a 20 that had the right sidewall height. It all worked out though.
