So most of you guys know i tore up my car mildly right after thanksgiving...:drive1: ......well I was hoping to use christmas break as a mad dash to get it back on the road. I figured, hey, why fix something when I could make it better. So instead of just trying to replace my centerforce clutch, I ordered a 12" mcleod with a kevlar/aluminum friction disc and matching billet flywheel :git: . Well it all showed up this thursday, but we were moved out of our house for the week because of some remodeling, so I didn't get to check everything out 'till today.....and it's gorgeous....except that they sent me a 10-spline disc in a 26-spline box :ripped: . MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME!!

I just needed to vent a little to some guys who would understand. Everyone else in my family doesn't get it at all. "can't you just get a shaft to match this clutch?", etc etc etc.

Also, before i send this thing back, can you guys in the know check on MCL-260873 and make sure that's the right disc for an agressive street-strip-track car?

Can't you just get a shaft to match that clutch? :poke:
Just kidding. Reminds me of when I ordered a new posi unit and the company sent me a rebuild kit with the wrong size carrier bearings. I didn't notice it until we attempted the install, one would think they check for that before they ship the parts. Guess not. Oh well what can you do...:dunno:

Summit will make it right. They've always had great customer service when I have dealt with them. Sorry to hear about the delay though.

How is that summits fault? Mcleods Boxed it in the wrong box not summit.
I feel for you though. I bought a set of Motor mounts off the clearance rack at summit that where boxed wrong from Energy Suspension Not summits fault but they wouldnt drop their no returns on clearance items rule.
