Ok, to all the regulars who have wandered where i have been.

01 Xtreme blazer
$1200 purchase price.

on the frame rack getting the body and frame pulled.
the left front corner of the roof has come down quite a bit, he said once he does a final pull it should bring it back down completely where it should be.
And yes, this frame rack is an old one. it was done on it due to insurance work being on their newer racks......low budget operation here....lol !

i am still have to remove and replace the left door opening frame and left rear quarter, apparently it had been wrecked one other time before this one.....the left quarter is full of bondo.
me and bondo do not get along.

test fitting body panels to make sure the frame is correctly centered under the blazer.
drop spindles and coils are installed.....now i just have to get the rear drop kit installed.

Taping it up and getting ready to spray etching primer on it.
then seam seal every crack and crevice and also fix any small dings, then it will be time for the high build urethane primer coat.

i picked up my new GM door and got it mounted, and also mounted up the hood and fender.
always test fitting, can never be too sure about fitment.....gotta make sure it's right before the painting starts.
also starting to cut off the rear bumpstop brackets to ready the rear frame for the suicidedoors.com frame notches, which can be seen beside the rear wheel on the floor.

i want this in atleast primer, if not paint by the new year.

it's gotten me motivated again.

thanks guys, that means alot to me coming from the caliber of guys on this board.
i look at this as a learning process before i start replacing NOS body panels on my 71 Nova, the s10 panels are still readily available and cheap compared to the NOS Nova panels.

How long did it take you from start to finish? That is a lot of work but going very well. Don't think you need to worry about doing your own surgery on the Nova. It will go fine given what I see you can do here.

LOL! :lmao:

the xtreme extracab was sold awhile back....4 cyl automatic with 20's don't get along too well when the a/c is running. it couldn't get out of it's own way.
