If you're into motorcycles at all (or like mountain roads) head up to Newcomb's Ranch on the Angeles Crest Highway at about 7 to 8am either Saturday or Sunday morning (Route 14 south to the Angeles Forest Highway south to Upper Big Tujunga then left on the Angeles Crest Highway about 7 miles).

Depending on weather, there are more Ducati's and Aprilla's than you'll see anywhere outside a show. In addition, there are often groups of Saab Sonnets (very late '60's, early 70's Saab sports cars), Lotus Elises, a nasty turbocharged Dodge Viper, various Porsche's etc., plus, on occasion a 1968 Camaro.

Penny is in San Mateo, near Escondido.

You can mapquest to her. 1011 Rancheros Drive, San Marcos, CA 92069

Call 760-480-0227 and ask for Diick (the owner). They are a great group of guys and they usually have some cool cars in thier shop. Also in that area is Lateral-Dynamics and not too much farther is Classic Chevy 5-speed.

San Marco is about 150 miles from you though. The Peterson is pretty close though.

I'm in Anaheim Hills, CA (92807).. about 80 miles north of where Penny is.

Banks and the Peterson both sound like good bets. Hey, if you see Penny you could then go to the San Diego Wild Animal Park.. :)

If you are in Palmdale, you might think about looking to see if there are any good events happening at Willow Springs, it's only about half an hour away. Not much to see out that way at all, but if there is a driving event/school, might be fun to go and watch. There are a lot of very nice, very fast cars in So Cal, and a lot of folks are not shy at all about taking them out.
