What is the offset of those rims? How did you manage to fit 9.5 rims all the way around??!?! Bird looks real good. Nice power and torque numbers as well...

If I remember correctly they were 5" backspacing, could be 5.5", I'll have to check. Had the same size tires all four as in back originally, but went with a little smaller tire in front.

Welcome aboard 73. I think we all can move on from the Tri-Y fiasco. This is the first pics I have seen of you car from multiple views. Nice. Do you get any rubbing from the fronts? I would like to know the backspacing you are using up front.

Oldschool, they only have the car show spring thru fall, but come over anytime.

Zee, backspace is 5.5" front and back. Tires might rub if I drove it hard, autocross, but I haven't done that yet. I just bought standard backspacing, wish I would have custom ordered it. Link I posted in the wheel & tire section says to use 6" backspacing in front. Check ou that article.

Definitely one of the nicest T/As I've ever seen. I'm a huge fan of the 2nd-gen T/As, especially the '70 -'73 cars.:twothumbs

Ever had it on a track to see what it'll do in the 1/4 with that 530HP 455? I have a habit of taking all of my cars at least once for a day at the strip. I know it's not a quarter-mile car, but inquiring minds want to know.:hammer:

B Man, track time is comming this spring at Sacramento raceway. Took it out last fall at a local track for untimed grudge races. Spanked a 66 mustang and a Cobra with a 454 chevy. Only got two runs in and broke my right rear shock. I'll have a new Quadrajet from Cliff which I need!

Formulafr: I'm 73ta on the PY board and Trans Am Country as well as a few others.

love the car!

I've always liked the body style ever since I saw Clint Eastood playing that preacher guy in some old movie. "White Lightning" maybe?
