I read an article a couple of years ago in Chevy High Perfomance stating that a rear sway bar in a first generation camaro hurts handling. I currently have a front end rebuild kit from PST, bilstein shocks, hotchkis springs front and back and a hotchkis front sway bar in my 68 Camaro. I did not get the rear sway bar. When cornering at moderate speeds the rear end feels a little loose. Will a rear sway bar help correct this? Are you guys running rear sway bars with your suspension setups? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If, by "loose," you mean it tends to oversteer then heck no, if you add a rear bar it will add even more to rear stiffness and you will be drifting all over the place!
But I'm not sure that's what you mean...I would say just bolt up a swaybar and try it, if it helps it helps, if not you can always just take it back off.

I have not and will not run a rear bar, as it has never been a requirement to run one... for a 1st Gen F-body that is, unless you change the the rear suspension and go away from a leaf set-up.

In your case, just as Bandit stated, if you were to add a rear bar it will induce even more oversteer. The way to possibly correct this is to adjust your front suspension alignment... but for any of us to give you a direction, we will need to know what your alignment specs are currently.
