Not really, that will give Bob money to build another cool piece. While he did not get to do everything he would have liked to do, this car really made the rounds this past year, and is probably worth as much now as it will be for a while, so now is the time to cut it loose and move on. Bob is torn about letting it go, but he understands the big picture too. I am just happy that I got to see this car up close and also saw it run hard, and be used like a car is supposed to be used.

What are all the inner door picturs about it looks like they streached the doors. Is that what they were doing?

I know the fenders are streached, and pretty sure the doors were too. Bob said that once they got the body at the right height, it did not look right stock so the streach began. That is the reason the top had to be worked so much too.

The doors were sectioned with a wedge shape taken out and the lower rear corner of the door and quarter reworked to look better with the exhaust ports.

BTW I do want to say, that car has one cool paint job with the "ghost" billboard. I think that is one of the most missed details of the whole car, just amazing work.

i have to agree on the ghost hemi bill i always catch myself missing it..i showed some buddies the car in magazine..the super rod one .they thought it was cool till they seen the build pics then they understood what it took to build this awesome car..

I understand the need to build newer and different, I am rebuilding my project from the ground up for the 3rd time so I can keep improving stuff. But I just can't understand having a car at that level that actually runs hard and feeling like you have to sell it for any reason other than actually having to sell it for the cash to keep living.

I guess its a rich guy thing.

Whether you build a 10K car or a 1M car, it is still the same thing. Some keep them forever, some sell and move on. The thrill to most of us is building and playing then doing it again. Regardless of anyone's checking account, 1M is a heap of change. Once you have satisfied yourself (and isn't that who we all should really be trying to impress, ourselves?) why not turn it and move on? Bob trades 100 cars a year and has a stable full, so he is not one to hold on to everyone anyway, he would much rather start another one. Given that, he feels now is the time to sell this particular car since it will never be worth anymore than it is right now. No need to hang on to it another year and see the value drop.

i agree for me it's all about the build. i love designing them and working with a great team of guy's that can take my vision and build it. I am a true r & r guy and i doing my best to learn more and more. So for me personally it'a all about the build. I actually have 3 cars going right now and considering a 4th.

I already thanked Marty Mcguire (Syborg TT) ..www.sportmachines.com and www.syborgtwinturbo.com and his friends (builders of his web site and some of his car work to boot) Adam and Ian @ Revolution Industries...[url]www.rev-in.com...started off asking them to post some more of my pix on their site and the next thing I know they've created the Cuda it's own web site..all in 1 week...unbelievable..if I hadn't kept sending more photos, they'd be done already. anyone need this kind of work, these guys are the best I've run into. Thanks again guys..The site is going to have a couple thousand build photos before it's done..anyone wanting to see what went into the build, check it out..

Thanks Bob, we've really had a great time building the Site. Normally were not that fast but we understood the urgency of the site. Usually we can have a site up in 4 weeks. Depending on it's complexity.

Adam & Ian wanted to show the comunity what they can do. As a team we work well together. I love setting up the Gallery's and Adam has the creative mind (as well does Ian) but Ian is the master of Code.

Barrett Jackson only comes once a year. I'm 61 yrs. old..just had a quadruple bypass...I've got several unfinished projects that I want to finish. I cannot do them unless I unload a few of my big buck pieces. The Cuda is fresh, it's all over the radar screen, and even though i'd love to have it through next summer, I think it's a smart business decision to move it now..much to my chagrin..Like Poteet said..we all want to make a mark on something..I made mine with the Cuda..I've got some more to do..might not have too much time to do it..need the cheese to get the balls rolling...

I think he has lots more to post..there's tons of pix of it...glad you like it...it will take the availability of new trick parts to top it...we used the best stuff now available for the Cuda...
