I currently have Hotchkis rear springs and moog 5660 fronts, I want to change my front springs and im wondering if the hotchkis springs perform good ? should I just get a set of hotchkis fronts or should I replace them all with Eibach's

I had Hotchkis springs in my old '85 SS, and have Eibachs in my '88 SS. Both cars wore the same set of Bilsteins. Honestly, I can't really compare them, because the '85 had completely wasted body mounts; so bad in fact that you could hear the body creaking on the frame when whipping the car through the curves.
I am very happy with the way my '88 handles on the curves, and it rides great on the highways. FWIW, I even drove the car through lower Manhattan once, and it really wasn't bad on the potholes and cobblestone streets!

The Hotchkis springs we had on my dad's 96 Z28 rode wonderfull. I know ALOT of Eibach springs like to sag. Not sure how that helps but its personal experience.

Personally, they are the same. There are only so many ways to make a standard coil spring. At the same rates, the biggest attribute to handling and ride are the SHOCKS! Buy either (I have had 3 types and ridden in several vehicles with either of these 2) and ensure you get a properly valved shock.

Gotta agree with the big guy there. Shocks are the most critical factor for ride. Bilstein or Hotchkis Bilstien for non adj. and Varishocks for adj. are all good choices. Konis are really good too but I don`t care for how their 3 way shocks adjust.
Hotchkis and Eibach both make a good set of springs. Rates are very similar. The only difference really is that the rear Eibachs are progressive rate. Typically I`m not a big fan of progressive rate springs but they seem to work well in this application. Lowered G and A bodys don`t have much jounce travel left so the rate doesn`t stack up much there. In rebound the rate of the progressive rate springs drops off faster, letting the shocks dampen upward travel better and seems to keep the rear end planted to the road a little bit better over bumps. Since you`ve already got Hotchkis in the rear though ,you might as well get the fronts from Hotchkis too. Mark SC&C

That's right, all of the literature that I have read on the subject suggests that you should stick with a system for the whole car (like Hotchkis TVS or GW Cat ___), to avoid tuning problems with mismatched parts. I would go with Hotchkis in your case.
