If you read the latest HRM, page 122, we don't have a chassis for a Vette yet. And no, unbelievably it's not a chevy. One, more thing, that's not it you see through the trailer's side doors

I have no clue, but the one on top looks like a Jag and the one on the bottom looks like a Porsche. But then again, it could be the Red Bull and Vodka kicking in.

[quote=trapin]You guy's have snow? We don't have any snow yet.

We got 15 inches snow in one day a couple weeks ago, followed by a few days of high temps of -4f.

There's a couple close ones.
Actually the 67 Cutlass convertible project was delivered today, but we were talking yesterday. The 2nd gen TA was hauled in from TX on the way back from SEMA weeks ago. Some of what identifies this model are in the letters "LSX" as Billy let out of the bag.

Getting closer, not a FLM, sorry. Not a chevy, yes, we have a chassis for it. It's a variant or sub model of something listed above.

Something like one of these, subject to owner approval:

It's a strip to bare metal start over project. Drivetrain will be a 455 cid EFI LSX/LS7 dry sump, using the original Oldsmobile bore and stroke of 4.125 and 4.25 w/ 6 speed, those are new Kinesis K78 wheels, with our full musclecar chassis of course.

very nice rendering. What exactly is the SX model? I have never heard of that one before. F85 sure but not SX.

The SX model was only available in 70-71 on the Supreme. It was the Y-79 option code and had a 455 2 barrel, dual exhaust and the cutout rear bumper. It was rated at 320 hp.

I feel like Beavis, uhhuhhuhuuh. He said SEXP

The subject line got my attention. What am I thinking about???

I would rather see the version with more black, and the vynil top gone.

Cool.

And here I was gonna guess you were doing a Peterbilt.

ProTouring442

Something like one of these, subject to owner approval:

The first one looks better. The trouble with the second one is that the lines on the car won't really allow for the two tone job. There is a bit of a curl at the bottom front of the rear kick-up and in my opinion it will be very hard to pull that stripe off and have it look right. You could do the lower half of the car with a second color, like an 80's 442.

Should be a cool project, but I might be a little biased!

Shiny Side Up!

Thanks for the info Shane. It's funny though as today I was looking at the calender the local GM dealership gave me while on the phone. The picture was of a yellow SX. I noticed the small fender badge first as being odd and then looked at the front license plate and it said 70455SX. Can't believe I didn't see that the first time I was looking at the calender.

As for paint jobs, a black and gold version of the Hurst Olds paint scheme would look good I think. The second picture looks similar to what that would look like.
