Ok, It is going slow. But now that I have the car at the shop I work at things should pick up. Here are a few pics of how the frame is going. I hope to have the rear suspension done by the end of this week.

Nice work. Man, that pic of the frame from the rear really shows how there is no torsional resistance in our gbody frames(i.e. no permenant crossmembers). Looks like it will be a fun car when its done.
What, size rear tires are those?

I actually cut out the old spring perchs to make way for the coilover setup. I will have alot of cross-member in there shortly. And I will hopefully be running a 295/35/18.

one more thing..are you gonna run a cage in yours??

I would run 11's but the rear tires are going to tuck, so I have to run 10's with a 5" BS to be safe.
I am thinking about caging it just to add some strength to the frame. But I am not that far in the project yet. For now I am concentrating on the chassis.

I dont know if I need to mini tub yet. I would guess I will have to because the car will be so low. But that comes ofter the body is back in the frame.

Good deal Jeff, looks like it's coming along. (Those QA1 coilovers are hot!) Just so you know I am following your project so you better stick with it!
BTW did you ever decide on a "project name?"

Why don't you notch that frame right now while the body is off. Get yourself and extra 2" for the rear tires. I'd do it now if I was you. You'll be doing it later and wish you did it now. Did I mention do the notch now? :)

I couldn't until you metioned it. I saw part of the frame rail and it looked like you hadn't. I see now you did it to the seam like most do.
looking good, keep up on the project:)
