I know Pro Touring and Mopar is almost an oxy-moron, however there are a few of us who see the light. I would like to let everyone know our showroom at XV Motorsports is open, and we have begun to do level I installs in our Irvington, NY based shop. All other installs like our level IIs will be dealt in Canada.
I have 20+ years experience in mechanics, and have owned the Dart equally as long. I bought my first set of sway bars in 1986...People thought I was nuts, as I feel the Dart was the worst handling car of all time in stock form. Now, watch out.....

Just out of curiousity, didn't that car at one time compete in Car Craft magazine's Real Street Eliminator competition?!

I thought you guys said you weren't doing an A body suspension? Never mind, this is an old post being revived.

FoxGranadaChuck, good eye. That was 1995...I got to the semi finals last year, but never got picked to compete. Personally, I think Car Craft didn't want to see a Mopar in their GM challenge...The car has been through several evolutions, but it keeps getting better and better. See my pix on my cardomain site - http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2593810. (http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2593810.)

I thought as such. For your info, I voted for your car to compete in the most recent RSE.

I thought that your Dart was so cool! With the smallest tires in 1995, you were only a few seconds behind Heath Elmer's Buick Regal GN with Baer brakes and 17-inch tires/wheels!

If I remember it was tenths of seconds, not seconds. I wish I would have gotten a chance to compete again, as the car is light years better than what is was then. Thanks again for the vote!

I looked back to that particulat issue, and you were correct! It was only tenths of seconds!

If your Dart was as well built then as it is now, you would have smoked both Heath Elmer AND Greg Justico!!!

I'm sure their stuff is a lot better too. Every year the bar has been raised, but I am proud to say I have a well sorted package that features outrageous handling, super brakes and tons of tq. For instance my friend went last year and won with the AMX. This is as serious a car as it gets. It has had ABS and traction control for over 10 years.

I just wished that he used a Mopar instead of a Chevy engine! Oh well....
