If so, can I have some pics, or ideas what to use to make it from.

Is ther some reason why you want to make it yourself. There are many affordable remote mount style aluminium power steering reservoirs out there.

The ones that I was looking at were in the $100 range. I had seen a screw on filler cap & bung on ebay for $10 that would work for one. I had a brain fart to see if I could make one.

I thin JP made one. I know he made a breather/catch can for something. PPersonally I'd rather pay $100 than spent $50 on materials and an afternoon on the TIG. I've got enough projects.

Yeah, I made several (2 of which are vapor/liquid separators). I used aluminum tube, and welded 1/4 6061 to the top and bottom. Tapped 'em for pipe thread (learned my lesson about welding AN bungs long ago), and they are in service right now. The cost was less than $100, but it took me all day, plus the cost for anodizing. $100 is a bargain.

If it were possible, JP would have vulcanized his own tires.
