Been lurking for a few weeks, and the grey box at the top of the screen has finally gotten to me.

This is my '87 Grand National. It's a low-mileage (40K) car with a nearly stock drivetrain (chip, fuel pump) and a mildly modified front suspension (Pole Position adjustable A-arms and tall ball joints from Marcus). Some will recognize the background For those that don't, it's the overlook right in the middle of the Tail of The Dragon.

The next is my autocross car, a 1970 Datsun 240Z that I pulled out of a barn three years ago. It's been "freshened" with a short-stroke 2.7L inline six and triple Mikunis. It puts 175hp to the ground. Not much on the surface, but in a car that weighs 2200lbs with me in it, that makes for a lot of fun.

And finally, the new project. A 1985 Pontiac Grand Prix. Decided the GN was too valuable to keep wrenching on, so I'm turning my attentions to this boat. It's a Brougham model, 305 4bbl. Lots of rust, and most of the running gear was shot. So far it's gotten a near rear suspension, a 200-R4 to replace the TH350C, and there's a nice 350 on a stand in my garage undergoing final assembly.

There are set of UBMachine upper arms and some Hoosier Autocross slicks waiting in the basement for it.

on edit: this place doesn't allow you to inline your attachments?

Hey, I used to have an '86 GP, t-top car. Pretty nice too. I always wanted to put a 2+2 nose on it, and do it up as an "80s GTO."

I like them too. I had an '83 in High school, put 200,000 miles on it, then wrecked it.
Got an '86. It lasted a year before I wrecked it.

I'm hoping age and wisdom allows this one to fare better.

Nice cars, I especially like the Buick! My dad's got an '87 with 25,000 miles on it, that is definetly a fun car to drive!

I've been down three times, twice in a Subaru, once with the GN.
It's definately more fun in a smaller car.
